I know I haven't taken the meeting potential clients IRL seriously. More so, it's an afterthought. And as you point out Kevin it's more than a full-time job. The main reason is one of trust. When we network in person it gives people the chance to get to know us better. They can easily read our body language and see if we "click". This causes trust to form. Online it isn't as easy.
