Top 6 Blogs I Subscribe To and Can’t Wait to Read Everyday

Posted in Blogging, entrepreneurs by Kevin Douglas

Everyday, the first thing I do in morning is reach for my phone and see which one of my favorite bloggers has given me gold in my inbox.  I subscribe to several different blogs.  I used to subscribe to blogs through Google Reader, but when you’re reading dozens of blogs, it can become overwhelming.  Here are some of the blogs I can’t wait to read everyday:

1.  Thomas Sinfield- Stand Out Blogger

Thomas is a great guy.  The information he provides on his blog StandOutBlogger is invaluable to me.  I also consider him a friend who I talk to often in our mastermind group.  Thomas is definitely one of those bloggers who you know is gonna blow up in the very near future.

2.  Pat Flynn- The Smart Passive Income Blog

Pat is one of the most transparent bloggers on the Internet.  The information he provides is what got me started in internet marketing.  His monthly income reports on his blog are pure inspiration for anybody interested in making money on the internet.  You can’t know anything about passive income and not know who Pat is.  His podcast is just as informative as his blog posts and he’s just getting started.

3.  John Aguiar- Money Dummy blog

If Leo Laporte is the President of the Internet, then John Paul is the President of Twitter.  His blog posts at Money Dummy are always informative and straight to the point. You need to get on John’s mailing list ASAP.  He’s been making money on the internet for a while now and he really knows his stuff.  He also knows Twitter. John has over 60,000 followers on the social networking site and still growing.

Grasshopper - The Entrepreneur's Phone System

4.  Pawel Grabowski- Self Employed Cafe

Pawel is one of my best friends on the internet.  He’s one of the most knowledgeable and humble people I’ve interacted with online.  He knows way more than he will admit to, and that’s a good thing.  He’s always willing to help someone out and his blog, Self Employed Cafe is an awesome read.  Like Thomas, Pawel’s blog is going to be one of those blogs you’ll be mentioning in the same breath as Problogger real soon.

5.  Murray Lunn- Murlu.com

I love this guy.  Murray is a blogger’s  blogger.  The amount of content he produces on a weekly basis is inspiring.  I could never begin to try and keep up with him in a log competition.  I don’t know the exact number of articles and posts he writes per week, but I would hazard to guess he writes about 10,ooo words per week. Minimum.  Don’t believe me? Look him up on Helium.com.  Murray is part of the MMO movement and he’s definitely someone you want to keep your eye on.  I definitely expect great things from Murray in the very near future.

6. Moon Hussain- Experiments in Passive Income

Moon’s Experiments in Passive Income blog is awesome.  She’s currently on a mission to create passive income for herself after she has left the 9 to 5 behind.  Moon is a mad scientist of passive income as she  experiments with what works and what doesn’t work in generating income.  Her passion for is infectious.  She inspires me everyday.

What are some of your favorite blogs to read everyday?  I’d love to hear from you.

Hmm it is always interesting to see what other bloggers read and almost all the other bloggers subscribe to pretty much the same top bloggers. You have a great list of bloggers here. Now to add Pat and Pawel to my reading list :)

A mention :D

I'm sorry that I don't post more often on my actual blog; I try to keep each post as if they were their own little entities - the mentality of "post one subject once".

10,000 words a week eh? I think I'm averaging about 6,000 - 8,000 a day :P This is the result of no TV and insomnia haha.

I definitely frequent the other blogs as well; it's an amazing little community we have going on here - I'm glad to be apart of it :)

I said "minimum", dammit! LOL

Thanks for including me Kevin! The calibre is high with this list, and definitely some great blogs that people should subscribe too :D

Hey Kevin!
Thanks for including me on the list, though to be counted alongside Thomas and the others, whew!

I love reading the other blogs as well, though my commenting has gone down a lot :(

Again, thanks!
P.S. Alex, I gotta keep it real, I have no other options lol.

Kevin, don't know what to say. Thanks, it means a lot what you wrote! I am honored to be featured amongst the people I actually admire and learn from everyday. Seriously, all of you guys rock!

@Alex, you didn't have to bring up the day job y'know. It was such a nice moment reading this post and then you reminded me .... ugh .... :)

No problem, Pawel. Don't talk to Alex. He's a dork! lol (jk)

Thanks for sharing this Kevin. As a newbie I love learning about other bloggers who are experienced and decent with sharing what they know with those starting out. A couple of these I don't follow so will go check them out now.
Patricia Perth Australia

They are all great people, Patricia. I've interacted with them all and they are amazing bloggers. Definitely check them out.

I just got a follow from John! Of course I will now be following and learning from him. It's amazing the connections we make when we interact on blogs and in Twitter :-)

Hey Kevin! Great post! I agree. Thomas, Pawel, Murray, and Moon are awesome bloggers!

I didn't know about Patt and John. I've just visited their blogs and I think they're awesome too. :)

Cheers!
Gloson

Thanks Gloson! They're all awesome!

Awesome stuff Kevin, I read all of those blogs too. I also check out,
- entrepreneurs-journey.com
- robswebtips.com
- alexwhalley.com

Do you prefer paypal or CC Mark? :)

Respect man - and I totally agree - man I have not visited robswebtips for AGES, thanks for the reminder.

Kevin,

Awesome list of bloggers that I definitely have a lot of respect for, yes even Pat has grown on me now :)

Moon keeps things real and I love that, and JP well he is like the godfather in the blogosphere - at least the one that I know, LOL, man he so IS the Godfather now that I think about it.
Murray is a top bloke - actually had a phone chat with him the other day - he kept laughing at my aussie accent :)
He actually has a good voice for radio (and no, that is not a crack at his face - although since I'm here....LOL)
Pawel is awesome! Full of value if you ask me - although he is taking a while to make my form - you'd think he had a day job or something ;)
As for Thomas - well he really is a stand out blogger and I learn more from what he doesn't do than from what he does (that makes sense to me)
And then there is Kevin, straight up no BS Blogger from what I have seen. Transparency and awesomeness all rolled into one (so really is just looks like awesome :) )

I still can't believe I stumbled this.... sheeeesh, isn't it about me ALL the time?

Thanks, Alex. I would have added you to the list but you already got props on John Chow's blog. lol

Yeah, the blogging community that we're apart of is truly amazing. I'm glad to be friends with a great group of people who happen to be bloggers. :)

WHAT??!! AlexWhalley.com??!! I hate that guy! lol Seriously, those are some great blogs I frequent, as well. And some other blog titled BloggersJournal.com, too. ;) Thanks, Mark!
